Online Permanganate Index Analyzer
HydroMetric online permanganate index analyzer is designed for continuous monitoring of permanganate index in drinking water, surface water and related water-treatment processes. The analyzer uses acidic potassium permanganate oxidation titration and determines the titration endpoint electrochemically, helping reduce interference from sample color and turbidity.

Process Features
- Automatic dilution can adjust the working range according to actual water quality.
- Waste-liquid separation supports separate handling of high-concentration reaction waste and lower-concentration cleaning waste.
- Sapphire-core multi-port valve construction is intended for resistance to acids, alkalis and organic solvents.
- Electrode endpoint detection improves robustness where water color or turbidity may affect optical endpoint judgment.
Applications
- Drinking-water treatment and distribution monitoring
- Surface-water and source-water monitoring
- Water-treatment process control
- Municipal and environmental monitoring projects
Integration & Selection
For project selection, confirm the expected permanganate-index range, sample temperature and solids loading, required measurement interval, available utility power, communication interface and whether automatic dilution is required. For PLC/SCADA integration, the analyzer provides 4–20 mA and Modbus communication interfaces.
