Online Total Nitrogen Analyzer
HydroMetric online total nitrogen analyzer for continuous determination of total nitrogen in drinking water, surface water, municipal wastewater and industrial wastewater. The analytical sequence uses persulfate oxidation to convert nitrogen-containing compounds to nitrate, followed by ultraviolet spectrophotometric measurement.

Process & Reliability Functions
- Sapphire-core multi-port valve for chemical resistance and long service life.
- Syringe-pump dosing for stable sample and reagent metering.
- Automatic dilution to adapt the measuring range to changing water quality.
- Built-in quality-control routines including recovery checks, zero verification, standard-sample verification and parallel-sample testing.
- Automatic fault diagnosis and alarm logging for over-range, reagent shortage and component faults.
- Data and alarm logging for unattended monitoring applications.
Typical Applications
- Municipal wastewater inlet and outlet monitoring
- Industrial wastewater discharge monitoring
- Surface-water environmental monitoring
- Drinking-water and process-water monitoring where TN trending is required
Integration & Selection Guidance
For system selection, provide the expected TN range, sample matrix, required sampling interval, installation environment and preferred PLC/SCADA interface. HydroMetric can confirm the suitable cabinet and communications configuration for the project.
