Suspended Solids Sensor
HydroMetric suspended-solids sensor uses a combined infrared absorption and scattered-light method for continuous TSS and sludge-concentration monitoring. It is suited to wastewater treatment processes, industrial water systems and discharge monitoring where stable digital measurement and low-maintenance operation are required.

Applications
- Sludge concentration in wastewater treatment processes
- Industrial process-water suspended-solids monitoring
- Wastewater-treatment TSS monitoring
- Sewage-plant outlet monitoring
- Municipal pipe-network and pollution-source discharge monitoring
Installation & Integration
Select the measuring range according to expected solids concentration and sludge characteristics. Position the sensor where solids are representative and avoid stagnant pockets. Specify cleaning requirements, cable length and whether a transmitter with 4–20 mA/relay outputs is required.
